L'Anse au Loup Swimming Pool
The small indoor swimming pool in L'Anse au Loup is a seasonal operation which opens each year from late June to the end of August. It is very popular with children and adults of all ages.
Labrador Straits Regional Arena
The Labrador Straits Regional Arena, located in L'Anse au Loup, serves the region from L'Anse au Clair to Red Bay and is operated by a committee of volunteers from the community. While its largest user is the Labrador Straits Minor Hockey Association, it is also used for Recreation Hockey, Ladies Broomball, General Skating and more. During the off-season it is available for rent and has hosted events such as Wrestling Matches, Carnivals and Regional Winter Games. For many years it has been the main venue for the Labrador Straits Bakeapple folk festival and the Regional Craft and Agricultural fair. (For inquires call the town office at 709-927-5573)
L'Anse au Loup Ski-Trail
The L'Anse au Loup Recreation Commission has operated a cross-country ski trail in the community since 1988. It is located at the end of Hillside Drive. It is a great location for training exercises and general fitness. It, too, is maintained by two or three dedicated volunteers who work hard to keep this facility groomed for an exhilarating outdoor winter activity.

Playground
Dubbed the Little Wolves Playground, the playground on Country Road is in the process of being up-graded with a multi-purpose playing surface. When completed, it will not only cater to children under 12 years of age, but also the older youth and adults.
